About Us
Vamet Industries was started in the year 2000 and it is currently managed by Mr. Prasad Chintamaneni. All our products have been designed, and developed by Mr. Prasad and his team in 1979 at Vamet Electric Private Limited, which was the first company to manufacture High Voltage Instrument Transformers in Andhra Pradesh. Since then, the products' performance and quality have been significantly improved.
Since our inception, we have manufactured a wide range and variety of Instrument Transformers conforming to Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The company is well equipped with all facilities required for manufacturing of Instrument Transformers.

All our products are guaranteed against defective design, materials or workmanship for a period of 12/18 months under the terms of our standard contractual warranty clause.
In the unfortunate event of transit damages or in the unlikely event of difficulty in operation, on-site repairs and services are available. If not possible on-site, then service is always available at the factory.

The final step of our quality assurance plan comprises of several routine tests being performed on Instrument Transformers, such as:

- Over-Voltage Inter-Turn Insulation Test for Current Transformers
- High Frequency Induced Voltage Test for Potential Transformers
- Determination of Errors
- Verification of Terminal Markings and Polarity
- Type Tests of Temperature Rise, Accuracy and Instrument Security
- Type Tests for Short Time Current and Lightning Impulse Voltage Withstand
Factory certified comprehensive tests reports are generated for each Instrument Transformer and provided to the customer along with dispatch package.
